What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I love spending time with friends and family. I also love reading books on different subjects, it’s very important to me to cultivate myself. I enjoy going to the gym at least 3 times a week it gives me the opportunity to spend my energy and stay healthy. Dancing is also one of my passions.
List any special training you have had (music, art, drama, dance, etc.).
I didn’t really do much of trainings in those fields, not because it wasn’t interesting, I just really focused all of my energy on school. I’ve never had a special training to dance on a professional level, but it’s something that I really enjoy doing and it comes naturally.
In what sports, if any, have you participated?
As I said earlier, I really focused on my school and family all those years. Even though I didn’t practice any sports in particular, I’ve done a lot of different sports, and going to the gym is something that was always part of my routine.
Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
I would have to say my sister. We are extremely close. She’s someone that really inspires me on a daily basis, she always find a way to smile or to find the positive in every situation. I know that no matter what my sister will always be by my side supporting me in everything I do. She makes me stronger and, since we are humans we sometimes have moments of doubts, she always gives me the courage to think that I can accomplish anything. I think I’m the luckiest and the proudest person to have someone with a heart like hers in my life.
What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?
My proudest personal accomplishment is the fact that no matter how busy I am, I would always find the time to help people in need. Regardless if it was people I know or total strangers. Being able to give a little of my time and energy, even if I’m tired or busy, is something that I ‘m very proud of.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
The most interesting thing about me I would say it’s my ambition and determination. I’m the type of person that when I set a goal, I will double the efforts to be able to reach the goal. No matter how hard it is I think if we decide to do something and put the effort into it, everyone is able to make his dreams come true. I’m not only like that to myself, I always encourage all my entourage to reach their goals or to push a little harder. I’m that person that will always be behind people to help them believe in themselves and give them enough confidence to go after their dreams.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born in morocco, came at the age of 6 and was raised here in Montreal, Canada. I had a very happy childhood. My mom raised me and I had the best times with my sister and her. I think people have this image of the single parent, where the children grow up ‘alone’, without attention or missing something more than the children who grew up with both parents. I would like to say that it’s a big misconception, at least for my case; I’ve had a happy childhood full of support, love and good values. My mom would always make time for us and give us everything we need. The fact that I had my sister, who I was and still am close with, is a blessing to me. I can’t remember a day where I needed my mom or my sister and they weren’t there. I’m very lucky and blessed with the family that I have.

I think the most interesting job that I’ve had was at the residence for elderly person. I’ve met so many interesting people over there and heard so many funny, interesting and absorbing stories.
List any volunteering you have done.
At the same residence for elderly person, also with the Syrian refugees that just came, finally at the community center multicaf, I also sponsor a child in Egypt and that’s something very important to me.
What is your most unusual talent?
I think my most unusual talent is having the ability to push people to reach their goals and help them get the confidence they need to do so.
Where is the most interesting place you have been to?
The most interesting place that I’ve ever been to would be Morocco. It gave me the opportunity to get to know a different culture that the one we have here. It was a very rich trip in experiences and I will always remember it.
What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
I’d like having my own law firm, or being a judge. I also aspire to help people in need and to have a voice at the ONU. I am part of the United Nations Association In Canada.
