While completing her degree she had the opportunity to perform in both The Vancouver Fringe Festival & The International PuSh Festival. She currently operates her own Performing Arts Academy in Brantford, Ontario and is on track to launch a not-for-profit organization, which will create accessible arts funding for underprivileged children in smaller communities. Abbey also operates a Princess & Superhero company that enjoys making regular appearances at local charity events. She has worked alongside her local Help A Child Smile organization to raise money & awareness for children with cancer. In addition, she had the honour of participating in Lights On for Evan, where the entire village of St. George, Ontario rallied together to give their hero, Evan Laversage, one last Christmas. Aside from her community involvement, and operating both her businesses, she is an avid runner, loves reading and writing plays and has a true love for nature. Abbey enjoys going for hikes, gardening and camping. Along with her love for the arts she also has a passion for fitness and using it as a platform to empower young women and inspire them to be confident. It is her dream through arts and fitness, to educate youth to accept themselves; be brave enough to make mistakes, get messy, be silly and experience universal love. Abbey believes we can all make a difference in our communities and our country, and hopes to inspire others to make every second count.
