She loves working with children and being apart of the team to help the treatment process. Samantha was a frequent guest at the Regina General Hospital in her childhood due to constant illness. Her visits only became more common after she got appendicitis. When she was young she watched the Miss Universe Pageant on television and has always wanted to participate in this Pageant. She is proud of her Cree/white (Métis) heritage and hopes to be a role model to all youth by following her hopes, dreams and by achieving her own happiness and success.
Her interests include spending time with her family friends and pets. Listening to music, swimming, shopping, cooking and baking. She was involved as a child in baseball, basketball, and ringette.
