Age: 19 | Height: 5’8″
Hometown: Cowansville, QC

Brianna is currently a student at Champlain College Saint-Lambert working towards a bachelor’s degree in the business of Advertising. She hopes to follow through with university and eventually open her own Full Service Advertising Agency.

Brianna is bilingual in English and French. One of her future goals is to speak Spanish fluently. Her hobbies and interests are singing, dancing, acting, photography and many different sports.

As a senior at Knowlton Academy Elementary school Brianna coached young soccer players. Brianna would like to start an organization focusing on physical activity for young children around the world.

“When kids play sports, they see that they are part of a team. Kids need to know that no matter where they come from and what they have been through, there are always people who they can lean on when they need help.”

Brianna lives the best of both worlds. She currently lives in the country on a ranch with horses, chickens and other farm animals, but also has an apartment in the city while she goes to school.

“One thing I enjoy the most about the country is its pureness, the stars in the sky, the smell of the woods and the sound of the wind.” She also likes the city life for when she wants to meet new people.

“There are so many opportunities to make friends in the city.”

Brianna has an outgoing personality; she is silly and loves to make people laugh. This happy go lucky girl loves to smile and make others smile too. Brianna has made many strong bonds with friends and family and she is excited to meet new people during the Miss Universe Canada pageant.

Soccer, Rugby, Basketball, Volleyball, Cross country running, Track and field, Swimming, Gymnastics, Figure skating, Skiing, Mush ball, Broomball and horseback riding.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?

The person who has had the most influence on my life is the motivational speaker Alvin Law. This is because he came to my high school to speak to the students. Alvin is an incredible man with no arms. He plays the drums, the piano, drives and does all the normal things people do with their hands except he uses his feet. He truly made me realize that we as humans take things for granted. We don’t appreciate what we have and we underestimate ourselves. He has made me believe in myself and grow as a human being.

What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?

My proudest personal accomplishment has been signing in front of my elementary school for the first time with my three best friends. It was one of the first moments where I had accomplished a lifetime goal.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?

I’m pretty silly; I am very giggly and like to make people laugh by doing funny things. I am constantly making weird faces.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?

I would like to start off by working for an advertising agency. I’d like to use my big imagination to create advertisements for brands. I will do my best to accomplish my goals and let the rest fall into place.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.

I was  raised in Cowansville, Quebec by my mother and father. We lived in the country where my sister and I would climb trees, play in the mud and build forts. We were constantly outside biking, fishing, cross-country skiing, etc. I believe that because of where I was brought up I have learned to appreciate and see the beauty of the outdoors. Some of these childhood memories are watching a mother deer and her baby chewing on grass and how peaceful they were, jumping in a pile of leaves in the fall, building an igloo in the winter with my father and Easter egg hunts with my sister in the spring. I had an unforgettable childhood.

Nothing out of the ordinary.

List any volunteering you have done.

Children’s summer camp counselor
Knowlton Academy Choir
Jump Rope For Heart
Terry Fox Foundation
Elementary School Sports leadership

What is your most unusual talent?

My most unusual talent would have to be that I can hold my breath under water for what I believe is a long time. Once I held my breath for two minutes and fourteen seconds.

Where is the most interesting place you have been to?

The most interesting place I have been to is at the top of the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia.

What do you hope to be doing in ten years?

In the next ten years I hope that I will have a family of my own. I would like to see myself working for an advertising agency while still having time for my family and friends.

Is there anything you would like to add that we haven’t asked?

When I was a child, on rainy days my sister and I would get into our bathing suits and go outside in the rain.
