Jade has and continues to have high expectations for herself. She has always been referred to as a responsible and reliable woman, with a driven attitude and positive outlook.

She has always pictured her career as an emergency room doctor, and although many times her fate had been steered in the opposite direction, Jade can now proudly say that she is taking steps towards medical school.

After graduating from high school, Jade set aside her dreams and pursued a career in creative advertising, attending class for two years at Seneca College. This was a great experience for her, granting her the opportunity to network, and to feel comfortable and confident as a public speaker and marketer.

Jade has recently graduated from George Brown College with a certificate  in Pre-health sciences. As an honor student she is determined to reach her goals, and be the best that she could ever be. Not only does Jade work hard in school, but she works two jobs, waitressing and bartending, supporting her own education, and all other assets.

With such a busy schedule, Jade has made multi-tasking a part of her everyday life. It is rare for Jade to have time for herself but when she does she enjoys the luxuries life has to offer.

Jade has a passion for culture and would love to experience different customs, languages and beliefs through travel and research. Eventually she plans to travel, assisting and providing medical attention to individuals living in underdeveloped countries Jade lives an active lifestyle and thrives on her health.

She enjoys snowboarding and skiing, dancing and literature. Jade is very creative and spends her free time writing poetry and short stories. She also loves yoga as it makes for a calm, focused and sharp mental and physical state. Other hobbies Jade has excelled in include sports such as soccer, volleyball and basketball. Jade hopes to make a legacy for herself, inspiring others to pursue their dreams, and to fight no matter what obstacles life may bring.

If blessed with the Miss Universe Canada title, Jade plans to create a platform helping young people with self-esteem and confidence issues, encouraging them to ignore the negative and focus on the positive. She strongly believes that there is so much more to life then what is portrayed by the media and she lives by a simple motto, oddly consisting of ten words, two letters each word; “If it is to be it is up to me!”
