Moni Ogunsuyi

Height: 5’7″
Hometown: Port Credit, ON

As a 22 year old young woman, Moni has achieved success in several projects she has been a part of. Described by her peers as an out-going, fun loving, free soul type of person. Her passion and commitment to see women and children treated with respect and dignity has enabled her to continue making a positive impact in the community by working with organizations such as and WENL – Women Everywhere Need Love- a charitable organization she started at the age of 18. She looks to inspire other young women with similar backgrounds stand up and speak up for what they truly believe in. Amongst other goals and aspirations she has for herself, she sets her sight on being the youngest female developer/builder in her industry. Understanding the hard-work and effort this will take, she is fully committed to achieving this goal.

Now growing up for Moni wasn’t the easiest, as she came from a very toxic household. She is the second of four children and was born on March 24th, 1994 downtown, Toronto. She would describe her childhood as a very traumatic one, which consisted of abuse, anxiety and depression. A childhood 1 in 3 children know too well. With the toxicity of her surroundings, Moni made the life changing decision to be on her own at the age of 16. She hasn’t looked back since. The years that passed after she left home weren’t the easiest as she became a victim of domestic violence and sexual assault. Again experiences 1 in 4 women know too well. Seeing as though she had gone through quite a bit, she wanted and realized she needed to be a loud voice. A loud one that needed to be heard. That is when at the age of 18 she decided to create WENL and start her career as a model. She’s using her platform as a way to bring awareness.

Currently Moni is the only female sales representative st Erin Mills Mitsubishi, one of the leading Mitsubishi dealerships and loves her current occupation. Sales has always been one of her talents and passions. But, another passion of hers and another one of her goals is to touch the lives and hearts of thousands of women and children across the province and country who are living in silence about their experiences. She hope to one day travel to different countries across the globe, bring light to one child or one woman at a time.

Moni Ogunsuyi, a genuine hearted, ambitious, strong willed individual with a story to tell and a voice to be heard.
