Anmol Dosanjh is a proud Canadian, born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. Anmol is a 23-year-old Sikh Canadian and a recent graduate from the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of British Columbia – and is a member of the BC Pharmacists Association (BCPhA). Anmol has a strong love for humanity, she is passionate about mental health advocacy and being of service to others. Anmol aspires to take her education in pharmaceutical sciences forward and create an inclusive and sustainable skincare company incorporating plant-based micro ingredients while promoting self-care and health among others.
Along with school, Anmol manages her time spent towards her creative skills, acting and modelling. Her recent memorable achievement has been completing her Foundation in Acting program at Actor Prepares from Mumbai. Her style incorporates elegance and timeless fashion that showcases her inner personality. You may find her at many extremes such as climbing mountains, paddleboarding her way into sunsets, or tossing her heels on and switching to a moment on the runway.
From volunteering in senior homes, to recruiting healthy blood donors for Canadian hospital blood banks, Anmol is versatile when it comes to achieving any goal regardless of the challenges she faces. Her compassion towards children inspires her to become an author of children’s education books while working with charitable organizations to provide resources and remove barriers to education for children.
She is a supporter of self-expression and wants to create an inclusive space for talking about issues that are overlooked such as mental health advocacy. Her goal is to encourage others to avoid internalizing their feelings, overcome the fear of judgement and support resilience through social-emotional learning programs. She takes her parents advice to heart when they say, “Anmol, go conquer your world and never stop seeking knowledge”, which fuels her passion to bring a change in the world. She strongly believes that as humans, we are powerful beings who can create meaningful changes and leave a better place for the next generation. She believes that outside beauty may fade, but internal beauty is everlasting so let that be your anchor.
