Madison Moore is a 21-year-old Swampy-Cree woman. She was born and raised in Opaskwayak Cree Nation/The Pas, Manitoba. Madison now lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba and plans on pursuing her education. Madison is an outgoing and positive individual, and she is always willing to help others. Madison enjoys spending time with her twin nieces, family and coaching volleyball. Madison currently works with youth within the community and wants to continue working with youth because they are our future leaders. Madison is passionate about her culture and supporting other Indigenous peoples. In her free time, Madison likes to act, model, and jingle-dress dance. She hopes to inspire other youth and individuals to step out of their comfort zone and try something they haven’t done before! Madison has persevered through many challenges in her life and is happy to be representing her hometown and indigenous women.
