Mildred was born and raised in Colombia until the age of 8. In 2006 her family moved to Regina, Saskatchewan as refugees running away from the violence of Colombia. In 2012 her family moved again to the city of Calgary Alberta. where she finished her studies graduating high school. And completing her diploma at Reeve’s College in her field of graphic design. Mildred is currently in rolled at Visual college of art and Design on her last semester of interior and architecture design. Her ambition is to use her education in the future to build low cost homes for the homeless with in Canada and Colombia. Her goal is to be a great role model for younger girls and to show them that education is the key to a successful future. Mildred is fluent in Spanish and English which has given her the opportunity to communicate with different people around the world. Her Latin spirit and flare has given her opportunities to connect with people more and helped her to obtain a role in a Latin movie.

In her spare time Mildred volunteers her time working in different events to promote a healthy, happy lifestyle. As well promoting her personal charity “SURPAZ” a non profit organization that she and her cousins created as a way to give back to the children in the city she was born in (Algeciras Huila Colombia).

She is a volunteer judge for Central All Canadian pageants in Alberta and is also involved in a movement to raise awareness for protection of women in the workplace. Mildred helps women give a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Mildred volunteers as a model/coach for kids occasionally, she’s walked in different events to show case Outfits in support of local businesses.

Modeling has given Mildred many opportunities in life, such being part of Vancouver fashion week to promoting a clean environment by showcasing outfits made from 100% reusable materials. Transitioning her career to pageantry where she was given the opportunity to represent Canada on a international stage as Miss Grand Canada 2022.
