Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in Toronto during my early toddler years, then moved to Barbados at 8 in the West Indies for some primary and then high school. I returned to Canada—specifically Scarborough—to finish high school -Grade 13 and then went on to study Radio and TV broadcasting in university.
My childhood was joyful and well-traveled. I explored extensively, and my parents made sure I was never left unsupervised, or with babysitters When they couldn’t be there, my aunt—my mother’s eldest sister—came to our home to look after me. I wasn’t allowed to have sleepovers, however my friends were always allowed to have sleepovers at my house with permission from their parents. Every birthday until age 10 was celebrated with an actual Party, after that grand parties were for ages 13, 16, 18, 21 and 25, our birthday then between were celebrated with just immediate family and a few friends. I spent my formative years in the Caribbean, the U.S., and Canada, all before I turned 18. I would say I had a very fulfilling childhood. Although I was an only child biologically, I never wanted for family because my mother fostered a younger brother and sister, giving me the enriching experience of growing up with siblings.
The one and only downside l can recall is that my dad died when I was 13, so he missed so many firsts in my life.

Is there anything you would like to add that we haven’t asked?
I’m a 6’1″ woman with a size 14 foot, and feminine footwear has been a lifelong challenge—especially now that I’m prepping for this pageant. Finding shoes with heels that fit, are stylish, and—most importantly—comfortable has felt like the hardest task I’ve faced. Yet I persisted, and I’ve finally found 2 pairs, actually I might even buy more of the same shoe, if I could afford it. Determination drives me; as hard as it’s been, I persevere—just like I do in every arena.
