Denis M. Davila, president of Beauties of Canada and National Director of the Miss Universe Canada Organization, announced today the judges for the 2016 Miss Universe Canada competition, which will take place at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts – The Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday June 11th at 8:00 p.m. EST.
The panel of judges includes:
Dr. A. Mark Awadalla
Mark is a doctor of dental surgery and owner of Esquire Dental Centres (3 locations in Ontario). His areas of special interest include cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and implant dentistry. He earned his degree at the New York University College of Dentistry, and served his undergraduate years at the University of Toronto. He is also a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute.
Elena Semikina
As Miss Universe Canada 2010 she represented Canada at the 2010 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. She executive-produced the feature documentary film ‘Our Man in Tehran’, and also directed, produced and wrote ‘Behind The Dress’, a view beyond the traditional beauty pageant stereotypes, showing the Miss Universe competition as a vehicle for encouraging and promoting women, humanitarian outreach and transgender rights.
George De La Rosa
Mr. De La Rosa currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Luminus Financial and has the distinction of becoming one of the youngest Credit Union CEOs in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University and a Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (FCUIC) designation from the Credit Union Institute of Canada through Dalhousie University.

Gregg Zaun
Gregory Owen “Gregg” Zaun is an American-Canadian baseball analyst, public speaker and a retired professional baseball catcher. He played for nine different teams over sixteen seasons in Major League Baseball from 1995 until 2010, winning a World Series Championship in 1997. Since 2006 he has served as an on-air personality with Sportsnet in Canada.
Jaffa Coen
Jaffa is President of the Board of Directors of Operation Smile Nicaragua. She also sits as a member of the board for a number of other charitable foundations in Nicaragua. She has spent nearly 20 years in Nicaragua working with health and children focused NGO’s.

Sarah Awadalla
Sarah is a pharmacy owner of Total Health Pharmacy #141 in Toronto. She earned her degree in Pharmacy at the University of Toronto and is an active member of the Ontario Pharmacists Association as well as a clinical preceptor for the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, the University of Buffalo, and the Albany College of Pharmacy.
Reza Zarmehr
Reza Zarmehr is the CEO and Founder at Ultra Fitness-Wellness Center and also the Founder of Ergo-Tech nutrition producing the high quality of Sports Supplements and has over 18 years of experience in the Fitness and Bodybuilding industry competing for team Canada in the World-body-building Championship. He is going to publish his book about Mind and Body by this summer.
