Q&A

What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?

My interests are diverse. I am passionate about volunteering, whether it’s participating in fundraisers or contributing my time and skills to serve on boards. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about using my unique abilities to uplift others and create lasting change.

One of my biggest passions is renovating homes. I find immense joy in transforming spaces, breathing new life into them, and creating environments that people can truly feel at home in. It’s a creative outlet that allows me to apply my skills and vision while making a tangible impact.

In my personal time, I love staying active through fitness and embracing the outdoors, whether I’m lifting weights, biking, hiking, or exploring new places. (I love the beach!) I also have a love for learning and personal growth, having read over 50 books in the areas of personal development, finance, and spirituality. I believe in educating yourself outside of the classroom as well. When I’m not immersed in books, you’ll often find me enjoying a coffee with family and friends at Starbucks and most importantly making memories with my dog Brewster!

I believe that engaging in a wide range of activities allows me to grow, connect, and be inspired by others who share similar values. It’s this balance of giving back, growing, and nurturing relationships that truly fuels my passion and motivates me every day.

List any special training you have had (music, art, drama, dance, etc.)

Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to engage in a variety of training that has shaped who I am today. In high school, I had drama and art training, which helped me develop the ability to express myself creatively. I was also involved in cheerleading, where I learned teamwork, discipline, and athleticism.

After high school, I pursued a Graphic Design diploma in college, which allowed me to refine my artistic skills and creativity in the world of design. This formal training in the arts has played a key role in my professional development, as I bring creativity into both my personal and professional life.

Lastly, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree, which has provided me with specialized training in healthcare and patient care, offering me a unique perspective in my professional journey. Throughout my career I was able to get a certification in IV administration, Long Term Care Administrator Certificate, Joint Health and Safety Certificate, Basic Mental Health First Aid Training as well as ASIST Training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills). Each of these experiences has contributed to my growth as an individual, allowing me to develop a diverse skill set that blends creativity, discipline, and compassion.

In what sports, if any, have you participated?

I’ve always had an interest in sports, and I’m passionate about trying new activities that challenge both my body and mind. Growing up, I was especially interested in cheerleading and gymnastics. In high school, I was on the cheerleading team. At 15 years old, I began my fitness journey by joining the gym and lifting weights. This is a practice I enjoy and remain committed to today. I also enjoy both road and mountain biking and playing beach volleyball. I have developed a strong interest in winter sports, such as skating and cross-country skiing. These activities not only keep me active and connected with others, but they also help me maintain both physical and mental fitness.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?

The person who has had the most profound influence on my life is my mentor, Amanda Frances, also known as the “Money Queen”. She is a powerful advocate for financial empowerment, particularly for women. I have read her book several times, listened to her podcasts, and embraced her wisdom.

The most life-changing lesson she taught me was that I am worthy simply because I am. Her message reminded me that my value isn’t determined by external factors or accomplishments. Instead, my value lies in the very essence of who I am.

Through her, I’ve learned invaluable lessons that have deeply shaped my personal growth and mindset. She empowered me to thrive by living with intention, passion, and purpose. Amanda’s teachings have inspired me to fully embrace my authenticity, trust in my worth, and stand unapologetically in my own power. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve discovered that believing in myself and owning my worth is the key to unlocking my full potential.

What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?

One of my proudest personal accomplishments, aside from participating in this pageant, is completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree! This achievement was not just about earning a degree, it was about pushing myself to new limits, learning the power of hard work and resilience, and committing to a career dedicated to caring for others.

But there’s more! Another monumental moment in my life was the purchase of my very first home. It was an incredibly exciting milestone, one that allowed me to tap into my creativity and vision as I transformed the space into a sanctuary I truly love. Every corner of my home reflects my unique style and personality, and now I have the joy of sharing it with my family and friends!

This journey has been transformational, and it has shaped me into the strong and independent woman I am today. Through this process, I’ve also built a portfolio of beautiful properties, and this is just the beginning. My ambition is to continue this momentum and one day have a global portfolio of stunning properties around the world!

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?

The most unique thing about me is my love for different cultures. I’ve always been fascinated by how diverse and beautiful the world is. Growing up, I was drawn to exploring traditions, customs and travel, and it’s something that continues to inspire me today. I believe that embracing and understanding different cultures not only broadens our perspectives but also allows us to connect with others in a more meaningful way. This passion fuels my desire to travel, meet people from all walks of life, and celebrate the beauty of diversity.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?

My career goal is to continue to build a successful real estate rental business that provides quality housing that people can enjoy with their families. I also want to create a platform where I get to empower and inspire others to take control of their financial futures. I am passionate about creating opportunities for others to invest in real estate, build wealth, and achieve financial independence. Through my journey, I aim to show others that with determination, education, and strategic planning, they can take ownership of their dreams—whether it’s owning properties, creating passive income, or building a legacy. By sharing my knowledge and experiences, I hope to empower others to break barriers, challenge the status quo, and realize that they have the power to create the life they’ve always dreamed of. For me, success isn’t just about personal achievement, it’s about using that success to uplift others and create meaningful, lasting impact.

What would be your “dream job” in life?

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring others and helping them pursue their educational and professional goals. My dream job would be to create a platform where I can speak about women’s empowerment and inspire others to live boldly and authentically. I’ve been fortunate to be mentored by strong, empowered women, and I’m deeply committed to paying that forward by helping others step into their true potential.

Whether it’s through workshops or one-on-one mentorship, I want to encourage women to embrace their worth, follow their dreams, and live life on their own terms. At the same time, I envision building a flourishing business and continuing to expand my real estate portfolio with beautiful rental properties and Airbnbs around the world!

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.

Growing up in a small town in Northern Ontario, I was surrounded by the warmth of two incredibly loving and hard-working parents who instilled in me strong values and the importance of believing in myself. I was fortunate to have the unwavering support and wisdom of my grandparents, who were like a second set of parents to me. As the younger sibling to my brother, who is seven years older than me, I was introduced early on to fitness, healthy eating, and the strength-building power of lifting weights. These habits quickly became a meaningful part of my lifestyle and taught me discipline and self-care.

My connection to wellness deepened through my family’s garden, where I learned the value of nourishing my body with fresh and wholesome food. That early exposure to natural, mindful living inspired my continued love for preparing vegetarian meals.

Some of my fondest memories are of summers spent with my cousins exploring the outdoors, riding bikes, hiking, and constantly inventing new ways to stay active and have fun.

While small-town life gave me strong roots and a clear sense of identity, it also sparked a deep curiosity about the world beyond. It taught me to dream big, to keep growing, and to always embrace life beyond my comfort zone.

List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.

The most interesting job I’ve had was during university when I ran my own cleaning business. What made it truly special was that I focused on helping the elderly. It wasn’t just about cleaning it was about building relationships and making their lives a little easier. I got to hear incredible stories, gain a deeper appreciation for the generations before me, and make a real impact in my community. It taught me a lot about empathy, hard work, and the joy of giving back.

I’m always looking for ways to give back. I am grateful for the people that I met along the way. Part of my mission to give back wherever and whenever I can.

What is your most unusual talent?

My most unusual talent is having a photographic memory for details. I can recall intricate information such as numbers or visual layouts with remarkable accuracy. It often surprises people how much I can remember from even a brief glance or interaction.

Where is the most interesting place you have been to?

I’ve had the privilege of traveling to many amazing destinations, including New York City, Detroit, Las Vegas, Ottawa, Dominican Republic, Montreal, and Cuba. However, the most fascinating place I’ve visited is Cuba. I was captivated by the vibrant culture, from the lively music to the historic architecture, and the beaches were stunning. The people in Cuba were incredibly warm and proud of their heritage, which made the experience even more special. I love exploring new places, and I look forward to discovering many more in the future.

What do you hope to be doing in ten years?

In ten years, I envision myself living with complete financial freedom, having built multiple streams of passive income. I see myself continuing to expand my real estate and rental portfolio, with a flourishing business that allows me to travel, educate, and grow both personally and professionally. One of my major goals is to push myself to new heights by completing a 100 km bike ride in New York City, surrounded by thousands of fellow enthusiasts—an achievement that will reflect my dedication to pushing both my physical and mental limits.

I will have traveled to countless countries, immersing myself in different cultures and broadening my worldview. I also envision being a best selling author, writing books that speak to female empowerment, inspiring women around the world to step into their power, find their voice, and pursue their dreams unapologetically. And yes—starring in a Hallmark Christmas movie or two is still on the list!

The future holds endless possibilities, and I can’t wait to see where my passions and determination will take me!
