I’m deeply passionate about skincare, storytelling, and empowering women. I love creating experiences that help people feel confident—whether it’s through a facial, a business idea, or an encouraging word. I love spending time with my children and husband, reading romance novels, and finding inspiration in everyday beauty.
List any special training you have had (music, art, drama, dance, etc.)
I’m a Master Esthetician with over 11 years in the beauty industry, trained in skincare, makeup, and advanced techniques across Boston, Toronto, and Beverly Hills. As well as training in nursing, with a specialty in dermatology. I’ve also received acting and public speaking training, and began modeling at age 14.
In what sports, if any, have you participated?
I was a cheerleader, which taught me the importance of teamwork, confidence, and showing up with energy—on and off the mat. It helped shape my voice, presence, and ability to lead with positivity.
Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My husband. He was the first person to truly believe in my wildest ideas and never once asked me to shrink myself. He’s not just my partner in life—but in business too. Together, we’ve built brands, raised a family, and chased dreams that once felt impossible. His belief in me made me believe in myself.
What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?
Becoming a mother and raising four incredible children is my greatest accomplishment. They’ve taught me patience, purpose, and the true meaning of unconditional love. Every milestone in my life has been shaped by the lessons and joy they bring me daily.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
Seventeen years ago, during my first week at Concordia University, I gave birth to my son at just 25 weeks—he weighed 1 pound, 1 ounce. I was a teen mom navigating textbooks and the NICU while holding onto a dream. That same year, I applied for Miss Universe Canada but couldn’t compete. Now, at 34, I return not just as a contestant—but as a mother of four, an award-winning esthetician, and a woman who turned adversity into legacy.
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My goal is to create an international skincare empire rooted in education, inclusivity, and financial empowerment. I’m expanding Mayfield Glow, mentoring young estheticians, and using my platform to help women gain the confidence—and the tools—they need to build wealth, independence, and legacy through beauty.
What would be your “dream job” in life?
To host a show that blends beauty, business, and motherhood—with bold conversations, real-life glow-ups, and space for women to be smart, stylish, powerful, and unapologetically themselves.
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, in a community where I often felt like I didn’t quite fit in. As one of the only girls of color, I quickly learned the power of resilience and self-expression. At home, though, I was surrounded by love, culture, and strength. Our family was deeply rooted in our Jamaican heritage, and my mother was—and still is—the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known. She balanced school, work, and motherhood with grace, grit, and style. Watching her taught me what it means to be resilient, to lead with purpose, and to show up fully—no matter what.
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
Before launching my skincare brand, I worked in dental for many years. It wasn’t the most glamorous job, but I became a dental assistant at 17 to provide for my son—and eventually worked my way up to practice manager. That experience taught me discipline, leadership, and how to build something from the ground up.
List any volunteering you have done.
I’ve mentored young women in launching their own businesses, coding their online stores, and entering the beauty industry with confidence. I also support aspiring estheticians as they develop their skills and build careers. One of the most meaningful things I’ve done is organize fundraisers for my children’s school—helping create opportunities and support for families in our community. Mentorship and giving back are at the core of everything I do.
What is your most unusual talent?
I can read skin like a story. With just a glance, I often know what’s happening beneath the surface—physically and emotionally. But more than that, people naturally open up to me. I’ve been told I create a space that feels safe, comforting, and judgment-free. It’s part science, part intuition, and all rooted in care.
Where is the most interesting place you have been to?
Jamaica—my mother’s homeland. Visiting connected me to my roots, my resilience, and the richness of our culture. Growing up, I couldn’t understand why my mother and grandparents would leave such a vibrant, beautiful place. But visiting helped me see the strength behind their choice—especially moving to a French-speaking province like Quebec, where they had to rebuild in a new language and environment. That trip gave me a deeper appreciation for their sacrifice and the foundation they created for me.
What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
Running a global beauty brand, empowering the next generation of women through mentorship and education, and living a life that reflects purpose, peace, and presence—with my family by my side. I hope to use my story as living proof that anything is possible, and to inspire others to believe in their own journey—no matter where it starts.
Is there anything you would like to add that we haven’t asked?
Yes—I’m here to represent every woman who’s ever been told she couldn’t. No matter your background, your story, your skin tone, hair type, or size—your dreams are valid. I hope my journey reminds others that it’s never too late, too early, or too complicated to show up fully, chase purpose, and glow in your own way.
We all deserve to be seen.
