What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I love outdoor activities such as canoeing, hiking, day walks. My interests include singing, dancing, and modelling.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My younger sister. She has always encouraged me to be the best version of myself and to be optimistic in every situation that life throws at me.
What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?
My proudest accomplishment is graduating university with a diploma in dental hygiene.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
The most unique thing about me is that people generally gravitate towards me; I create a friendly energy and environment for any one to be comfortable in especially minorities/immigrants.
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I would love to move up in my career and possibly work in public health in the future. I am currently gaining experience in field of dentistry in general practice.
What would be your “dream job” in life?
Travelling the world, giving back to communities anyway I can.
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in both Ethiopia and Halifax, NS. I do not remember much from Ethiopia, but being raised in Canada was definitely a cultural shock. Learning a new language, getting accustomed to climate, and food. It was a learning curve but a beautiful experience.
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
The most interesting job I have had is dental hygiene. I am not only a dental professional but a chair-side nutritionist, therapist and an advocate for overall health.
List any volunteering you have done.
- Sunday Dinners – Feeding Sunday dinners to the homeless for a church organization
What is your most unusual talent?
I can place my chin in my collar bones, and I can also bend my thumb behind the index finger.

What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
In 10 years I would love to have a beautiful family and doing what I love helping people whether its through work or volunteering.
