Jady Peng comes from an academic background that shaped her strong interest in education, self-learning, and critical thinking. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at renowned universities before building a career across the private and public sectors, including Crown corporations and international development agencies. Her international experiences include working with two United Nations agencies, including UNESCO, attending a United Nations conference in New York focused on education for underprivileged communities, and representing Canada during the 2006 Winter Olympics in Italy. These experiences broadened her perspective and deepened her appreciation for cultural understanding, resilience, and lifelong learning.
Today, Jady combines her passion for investing, fashion, humanitarian initiatives, sustainable living, and women’s empowerment. She manages her own investment portfolio, volunteers with Access Pro Bono BC and the Downtown Community Policing Centre, and has served three times as a Central Poll Supervisor for Elections Canada. Through her journey with Miss Universe Canada, Jady hopes to demonstrate that women do not have to choose between intelligence and elegance, ambition and compassion. She hopes to inspire women to pursue their goals fearlessly while remaining grounded in integrity, self-awareness, open-mindedness, and timeless elegance.

What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
My interests include fitness, fashion, travel, politics, investing, reading, and creating fashion content that inspires confidence and elegance. What I enjoy most is learning new skills and knowledge, investing, traveling, and fashion, because they allow me to combine curiosity, creativity, discipline, and personal expression.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2018, has greatly influenced me through her confidence, grace, and meaningful advocacy work. She taught me the importance of using beauty and public platforms with purpose and authenticity.
What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?
One of my proudest accomplishments was serving as a Canadian ambassador during the Torino Winter Olympics, where I had the opportunity to represent my country in an international environment and connect with people from different cultures.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
One of the most unique things about me is that I have had the opportunity to work with two United Nations agencies and attend a United Nations conference in New York City. I also represented Canada during the 2006 Winter Olympics. These international experiences shaped my global perspective, strengthened my communication skills, and inspired my passion for connecting with people from different cultures.
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My career ambition is to build a successful investment and family office business while becoming a fashion and media influencer who inspires women to pursue confidence, financial independence, and personal success. To accomplish this, I continuously study investing and business, expand my network, and improve my communication and public speaking skills. Joining Miss Universe Canada is also part of my journey to become a woman who can inspire and empower other women through confidence, elegance, and dressing for success.
What would be your “dream job” in life?
My dream job would be to build a career in fashion, media, and public influence while inspiring women through confidence, elegance, and personal growth. I would be honored to represent Canada internationally and become a positive voice for women’s empowerment and dressing for success.
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in an intellectual family that placed a strong emphasis on education, integrity, and personal responsibility. My parents encouraged me to work hard, think independently, and pursue academic excellence, which inspired me to study at some of the world’s top universities. Those values continue to shape my discipline, ambition, and approach to life today.
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
I served as a three-time Central Poll Supervisor during the past three federal elections for Elections Canada.
I worked at the Canadian Winter Olympic Pavilion during the Torino Winter Olympics in Italy, helping support cultural presentations and international diplomatic events.
List any volunteering you have done.
Volunteered with Access Pro Bono BC and the Downtown Westend Community Policing Centre in Vancouver.
What is your most unusual talent?
One of my most unusual talents is having a very strong memory for faces. I can often recognize and remember people after only a brief interaction.
Where is the most interesting place you have been to?
Having traveled to more than 16 countries, Italy remains one of the most memorable places I have visited because of its culture, history, architecture, timeless Fashion and beauty.
What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
In ten years, I hope to have built an international fashion and lifestyle brand that empowers women through confidence, elegance, and dressing for success, while also leading my own investment and family office business.

I am passionate about continuously growing beyond my comfort zone and challenging traditional expectations of what a modern woman can be. Through my experiences in international environments, business, and public service, I hope to represent confidence, resilience, and multidimensional success with authenticity and grace.
