 Kitchener, ON

Occupation: Model

Jasleen Kaily is an interior design student, model, and humanitarian advocate from Ontario, Canada, currently pursuing her Bachelor of Interior Design at Yorkville University. With a growing platform on social media and a passion for empowering others, she is building a career that merges luxury design, fashion, and meaningful humanitarian impact. Her long-term vision is to create safe, empowering spaces for women and children around the world while using her voice to inspire resilience, confidence, and compassion.

Deeply inspired by the legacy of Princess Diana, Jasleen believes true beauty is reflected through kindness, empathy, and service to others. Her advocacy focuses on supporting women and children who have experienced abandonment, hardship, or emotional struggles. Much of this passion stems from her own personal story and from witnessing the incredible sacrifices her mother made to provide a better future for her family. Those experiences shaped her understanding of strength, unconditional love, and perseverance.

As a delegate for Miss Universe Canada 2026, Jasleen is using her platform to promote mental health awareness, women’s empowerment, and global human connection through humanitarian projects and storytelling initiatives. Her work includes collaborating with organizations that support women’s wellness and creating projects that encourage people from different cultures and backgrounds to share messages of hope and healing.

Beyond advocacy, Jasleen is passionate about fashion, luxury interiors, and creating experiences that make people feel seen and valued. She hopes to one day become a globally recognized interior designer and humanitarian leader, proving that success is most meaningful when it is used to uplift others.

Q&A

What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?

I’m deeply passionate about interior design, modeling, and personal growth. I enjoy creating beautiful, meaningful spaces, expressing myself through fashion and content, and using my platform to inspire and empower women. What I love most is turning creativity into something that makes others feel seen, confident, and valued.

List any special training you have had (music, art, drama, dance, etc.)

I have received training in public speaking and speech, runway walking, and performance development. I also work consistently with a fitness trainer, Pilates trainer, and nutrition coach. Additionally, I have experience in gymnastics and have taken piano classes, which have helped strengthen my discipline, creativity, and confidence.

In what sports, if any, have you participated?

I have participated in gymnastics and volleyball, which have helped me build discipline, teamwork, and both physical and mental strength.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?

One person who has deeply influenced me is Coco Chanel. She rose from a difficult past and redefined fashion for women, showing me the power of resilience and independence. I’m also inspired by Princess Diana, who used her platform with compassion and courage despite personal struggles. Together, they’ve taught me to lead with strength, grace, and purpose.

What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?

My proudest accomplishment is building a community of over 100,000 people on my social media, where I inspire women to become more confident and disciplined while maintaining that platform consistently for over three years.

Another accomplishment I’m proud of is my discipline I committed to daily habits like working out, reading, and staying consistent with my goals, and I followed through for 193 days straight. That experience truly shaped my mindset and who I am today.

I’m also proud of hosting a wellness event in collaboration with the YWCA, an organization dedicated to empowering women and supporting safe spaces. I led a Pilates-based event focused on confidence, self-care, and community.

Additionally, being invited to New York Fashion Week and collaborating with Ralph Lauren were incredible milestones that reflect my growth in the fashion and media industry.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?

The most interesting thing about me is how I’ve built a life that blends two very different worlds modeling and interior design into one purpose. I use both to express creativity, but also to create impact by helping women feel confident, seen, and empowered.

What’s unique about my journey is that I didn’t just grow an online platform I turned it into something meaningful, from hosting community events to collaborating with brands and being invited to major opportunities like fashion week. Everything I do is intentional, and driven by a bigger vision to create spaces both physically and emotionally where women feel they truly belong.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?

My career ambition is to become Miss Universe and represent Canada on a global stage as a voice for women. I want to use that platform to advocate for creating safe, empowering spaces where women feel valued and protected.

Alongside that, I am building a career in interior design with the goal of launching my own firm focused on designing spaces that promote confidence, healing, and security for women around the world. I am also working toward starting businesses that give back and directly support women in need.

What would be your “dream job” in life?

My dream job is to combine being a global model and public figure with leading my own luxury interior design firm. I want to work with influential clients around the world while using my platform to advocate for women, creating spaces and opportunities that empower them to feel safe, confident, and seen.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.

I was raised in a loving home where my childhood was shaped by the strength of my mother. Before I was born, she was pressured to give me up simply because I was a girl, but she stood her ground and chose to protect me. That decision is the foundation of who I am today.

Growing up, I watched her work multiple jobs while raising four children, carrying both emotional and financial responsibilities with resilience and grace. She showed me what true strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love look like. Because of her, I learned early on the value of perseverance, independence, and the power of a woman who refuses to give up.

List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.

An interesting part of my work experience is that I’ve worked across multiple luxury and mainstream automotive brands, including Tesla, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, and Porsche.

While working as a receptionist, I had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of clients in fast-paced environments, which significantly strengthened my communication, professionalism, and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.

List any volunteering you have done.

I have volunteered with the YWCA, where I hosted a wellness-focused Pilates event to empower women and support safe, inclusive spaces.

I have also volunteered at my local public libraries, reading to children and supporting those with special needs and abilities. These experiences have strengthened my compassion, patience, and commitment to creating environments where everyone feels included and supported.

What is your most unusual talent?

One of my most unusual talents is my ability to turn vision into reality I can take an idea, whether it’s a space, a concept, or a brand, and bring it to life in a way that feels intentional and impactful. Through both interior design and content creation, I naturally see how details come together to create a powerful overall experience.

Where is the most interesting place you have been to?

One of the most interesting places I’ve been to is Dubai. It’s a city that represents ambition, innovation, and luxury on a global scale. While I was there, I had the opportunity to collaborate with luxury car companies, yacht brands, and high-end hotels, which gave me incredible insight into international branding and elevated experiences. It inspired me to think bigger and align my goals with a global vision.

What do you hope to be doing in ten years?

In ten years, I see myself as a global leader in both the fashion and interior design industries. I plan to have my own luxury design firm working with high-profile clients worldwide, while also being a powerful public figure and A-list celebrity walking runways, featured in magazines, on billboards, and appearing on major television platforms.

Beyond my career, I aspire to use my influence to advocate for women and create safe, empowering spaces globally. Most importantly, I hope to build a strong, loving family of my own and embody the same strength, resilience, and grace that my mother has shown me.

Is there anything you would like to add that we haven’t asked?

I would just like to add that everything I pursue is rooted in purpose. My journey is not only about personal success, but about using my voice and experiences to create real impact.

I am committed to representing women who are strong, resilient, and unapologetically ambitious, and to creating spaces both physically and emotionally where they feel seen, safe, and empowered.
