As we start our fifth day of the Miss Universe Canada 2014 Humanitarian Tour in Nicaragua with feelings of being grateful, blessed, and enlightened one can only imagine the difference all 65 Miss Universe Canada 2014 delegates have made. Through your fundraising efforts, sponsorship, financial support, charity work and contributions from our friends, family, alumni and business partners your efforts have already transformed the lives of so many children and families thus far. Having the honour to be part of the team alongside Denis Davila, Director of Beauties of Canada, Kesiah Papasin, Lauren Howe, Rameeta Dhaliwal and Nickta Jowhari we have witnessed, watched and been a part of 80 life changing cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries through Operation Smile and inaugurated new computer resource centres for the SOS Children’s Villages. Your support has helped transform lives, educate and provide futures for so many and above all inspire and create awareness in these most noble charities. Thank you for all your hard work, passion and dedication and may through the sharing of our pictures, thoughts and experiences over the next ten days keep the fire burning to continue with your humanitarian work. Our work has just become and the opportunities are endless when we collectively work as a group.
