Last night Saturday September 8th 2018, Miss Universe Canada was a guest at the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s 3rd annual gala in Detroit to raise money for Parkinson’s research. Founded by the Canadian star himself, the foundation focuses on connecting the researchers and patients in order to work together to end Parkinson’s. Team Fox Detroit was able to raise $230,000 for research in pursuit of a cure, and to date, the Michael J Fox Foundation has raised over $800 million.
