A very special event will take place on October 19th: “Fashion for Smiles”, a spectacular fashion show to take place at the Crowne Plaza convention center in Managua, Nicaragua, with the participation of reigning Miss Universe Leila Lopes and 16 of this year’s competitors from the Americas.

The gala, organized by Operation Smile Nicaragua, has the objective of raising funds to build an Attention Center for children, teens and adults suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate.

The beauties will model designs by Fabrizio Giannone, Eduardo de las Casas and Mayda Cisneros.

Sahar commented that she is ‘very happy to go back to Nicaragua’. She visited the country in July as part of the Miss Universe Canada Goodwill Tour.
